When mentors and mentees aren't working on school work or hanging out after school, they're attending YSP events, doing community service projects, and getting to know one another!

The Kick-off Barbeque was a big success this year with fun games and delicious hot dogs! It was a great way for the new mentors and mentees to meet for the first time!

Thanks to everyone who came out for a day of community service this November. This year, our volunteers helped to clean up the school garden at Emerson Elementary School. The gardening teacher said our group did the best job yet!

Thank you to everyone who came to our mentor training on Saturday!! We really appreciated your attendance, participation, and everyone's input after the event. If you did not attend, there is some important paperwork we need you to fill out so PLEASE let us know when you can come by and collect it!

Thank you also to our wonderful families who came out to learn more about the program. Don't hesitate to contact us or come by the office and pick up an information packet.

We had a spooky time at this year's Halloween Party. Guests got their face painted, participated in creepy activities, carved pumpkins, and got wrapped up like mummies!

Our Spring Break bake sale was a big success. Under the direction of our amazing fundraising coordinator Peter, we managed to raise $130!

Thanks to all those who came out and contributed!

This year YSP hosted their first ever Spring Luau on Wednesday, March 17th. Those who came enjoyed smoothies, hula skirt and lei making, our photo booth, piñatas, relays, a cake walk, limbo and much more. Thank you to all those who came out and made our great night possible!

From gingerbread houses to holiday cards, this year's Holiday Party was a great way to finish off the semester. Thank you to all who came and we hope you have an amazing winter break!

Our Halloween Party was another great success. Mentors, mentees and their families enjoyed mask making, carnival games, a photo booth, a wacky relay race and, of course, a costume contest! Thank you to all who came out and made this year's party such a success.

Parent-Mentor Night this year was an opportunity for parents to get to know their child's mentor. They were able to sit down and talk about goals, hopes and plans for the future, and set a foundation for a positive relationship in the coming year.

Parent Orientation Night for YSP will be held in the Willard Cafeteria in November.

This year's kick-off BBQ was a chance for prospective mentors and mentees to meet each other, play games, and enjoy some good food in the sun at Willard Park. Thanks to all those who came out!
